Thanks to Rob Cassaday for posting the link. I’ve been mulling this over and thought I’d post my treatment on the off chance anyone is interested in reading it. I’m not sure why anyone would be, apart from random curiosity, but I thought I’d do it anyway. If you are interested, here it is:

Feel free to post brutally honest rants about it.
Of course, what I’m really interested in reading is one (or all) of the three winning treatments. I love reading scripts/treatments/ideas which beat me, there’s always something to learn; but, I guess I’m just going to have to wait and see what the final outcome is.
The Jobbing Scriptwriter 
I see that one winner is an established author, another is an actor/short movie maker? I don’t feel so bad with zero credits advancing as far as I did. Heck, I may even write my version out into a script (taking out the Gumball references)
Yeah, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. At the end of the day, people don’t always lose competitions because they or their idea is no good, sometimes they lose because the person(s) judging them had a different idea of what they wanted.
Write it up, it can’t hurt. You never know, it might just help. If the Gumball 3000 film is successful, people might be clamouring for similar films.
I’ve posted mine because I probably won’t bother. I’m not that enamoured with it anymore and I’ve go far too many ideas on the pile already.
Ditto here – I wrote specifically for the challenge, the chances of anyone needing a script based around an eight-day car rally are (I figure) slim, and I have other things to work on.
So might as well let other people have a lookie-loo.
